Embracing Adventure After 40

As we get older, it can be easy to let go of the adventurous spirit that many of us had when we were younger. But that doesn't mean the end of adventure! In fact, embracing adventure after 40 is easier than you may think, and it can lead to some of the most rewarding experiences of your life.

For starters, it's important to define what “adventure” means to you. This could be anything from a weekend camping trip to exploring a new city to taking a class in something you've always wanted to learn. Whatever it is, it should be something that pushes you out of your comfort zone and helps you grow.

When it comes to planning your adventure, don't be afraid to start small. You don't have to jump into something too big. Pick something that interests you and make a plan to go do it. You can always move onto bigger and bolder things once you gain more confidence.

If you're feeling a little overwhelmed, it's also helpful to find a friend or family member that you trust to come along with you. Having someone by your side can make the experience much more enjoyable and can help boost your confidence.

Finally, it's important to remember that adventure isn't just about the destination or the journey – it's about the memories that are created along the way. So don't be afraid to try something new and take a chance. You never know what amazing experiences you'll gain or the incredible people you'll meet.

Embracing adventure after 40 doesn't have to be a daunting experience. Take the time to find something that interests you, make a plan, and enjoy the journey. You'll be glad you did.

Challenge: Do one thing over the next week that is small, yet adventurous and send me a DM with an update

Until next time…
